Service Description
Open Freeskate can be used by all skaters Basic 6 and above to practice jumps, spins, patterns, and programs. Skaters who have not yet passed basic 6 are welcome to use this time as well, under the guidance of an individual coach. Program music can be played during this time. Private lessons can be booked with a coach during Open Freeskate times. Lesson times and fees are arranged with and paid directly to coaches. Sign up for an 18-session package and save $36 off the walk-on price! Skaters must sign in at each free skate session. Dates: September 3 to May 29

Cancellation Policy
In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Southern Minnesota Skating Club (the “Club”) as a skating member (“Skater”), and to use the facilities, equipment, or participate in any class or event, including “Learn to Skate” activities, the undersigned, on behalf of themselves, their heirs, and the Skater(s) agree to the following: (1) Authority: I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor Skater(s) named below, or I have obtained permission from the parent/guardian to sign this agreement. I will ensure that all activities are age and ability appropriate. (2) Compliance: I agree that the Skater(s) and I will comply with all safety rules, signs, and verbal instructions as conditions for participating in any Club activity. (3) Assumption of Risk: I acknowledge that the Activities involve risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, or medical disorders. I understand that these risks may result in injury or death and fully accept and assume all risks on behalf of myself and the Skater(s). (4) Release of Liability & Indemnification: I agree to waive and release all claims against the Releasees (Southern Minnesota Skating Club, the United States Figure Skating Association, Learn to Skate USA, and their affiliates, volunteers, and agents) for any injury, death, or property damage arising from participation in the Activities, including any negligence by the Releasees. I will not bring any claims against the Releasees and will defend and indemnify them from any claims brought against them due to my or the Skater(s)' participation. (5) Additional Option: I understand that for an additional fee of $25.00, I can participate without agreeing to this Release of Liability & Indemnification. By signing, I voluntarily choose not to exercise this option. (6) Attestation: I certify that the Skater(s) and I are physically fit to participate and have not been advised otherwise by a medical professional. I am responsible for our consumption of any food or drink at the Club. (7) Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by Minnesota law, and any disputes will be resolved in Blue Earth County, Minnesota. If any part of this Agreement is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. By signing this Agreement, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to its terms, including the waiver of substantial rights.
