SMSC skaters, Mira and Annie, each rose to the challenge and entered the @americanicetheatre Quest4Creativity choreography competition this month. 🤩 22 skaters under the age of 18 submitted unique programs choreographed individually without any outside help. These pieces required of the artists planning, thinking outside the box, and courage as their pieces were shared publicly on May 17th. ⭐️ Both skaters prepared impressive pieces with great attention to detail, space, movement, and expression! You can check out their performances on the AIT youtube channel, along with all 22 submissions - Mira’s at the 37:47 mark, and Annie’s at 45:29.

⭐️SENIOR SPOTLIGHT!⭐️
In the 14 years that Allee has been on the ice, she has found tremendous success. As an ISI FS 8 and Platinum level skater, Allee has passed her Pre Gold Skills and Singles tests and looks forward to becoming a USFS gold medalist! Allee’s favorite skating memory is earning a first place title for her Intermediate free skate at the 2023 National Excel Series Championship.

Allee began skating with SMSC to further her skating and is grateful for the opportunities the club has provided, as well as the friendships she’s made. Allee also skates with the New Ulm Figure Skating Club and Burnsville MN-Valley Figure Skating Club.
