Service Description

Learn to Skate USA® w Skate and Play: Learn to Skate programs make skating fun and safe for all as they grow a lifelong love for skating. Through our updated curriculum and our certified, passionate instructors, we build solid skill progression to grow confidence in skaters of all ages while providing them the resources necessary to reach their skating goals. With an intentional 30 minute “Skate and Play” segment incorporated to compliment the Learn to Skate curriculum, SMSC’s LTS programming supports the development of skaters as they become assured in their movement through coach led play. Regular skill evaluations will be conducted to ensure skaters are learning and progressing at a rate that is just right for them. Classes are offered in small groups and held in 50-minute classes. Sign up for one, two, or three 12-week sessions! Session 1: September 9 to Nov. 25 Session 2: December 2 to Mar. 3 Session 3: March 10 to June 2 No classes on December 23, December 30, May 26.

Cancellation Policy

A deposit of at least one month's worth of classes or freeskate sessions must be paid before skater gets on the ice. Monthly payment plans must be in good standing thereafter. No refunds will be given for missed classes. Notify coach or board member of absences at least 24 hours in advance to receive a make-up card that can be used at any class or free skate session. Skaters must sign in at each free skate session. Skaters who purchase punch cards must keep track of their own punch cards.
